There are many things to inspect before you close on a home. Realtors and homeowners should be walking around the mainly emptied out home and check to make sure promised repairs have been made. If they decide to leave the appliances in the home, those should be checked to be functioning correctly as well. We always recommend that the homeowner & realtor do a final sweep to make sure everything is in good condition before handing off legal ownership for the home.
